The Hollies Bookkeeping embraces technology to streamline processes.

We are embracing technology here at The Hollies Bookkeeping Services in Shropshire and changing the way we are onboarding clients.

We are doing whatever we can to improve our processes to benefit both us as a company and also our clients. We offer all potential new clients an initial call and then either a meeting on the phone or face-to-face.

If a business decides they want to come on board we are now using a platform called Ignition. We use this to set up a proposal including the individual client needs.

These proposals can be easily signed online, and payments can also be set up to be taken automatically, which can make life easier for busy businesses. But this is by no means essential and can be opted out of with payments made the traditional way if preferred.

The business will receive this proposal which includes information such as set-up costs and whatever they need.

We are also moving all our clients onto these new contracts via the Ignition platform. It will make everything more streamlined and professional and will enable us to comply with money laundering regulations and with our governing body ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers).

We will be contacting all our existing clients over the next few months as we roll this out.

As with everything we do at The Hollies, we take data protection very seriously – everything is well backed up and stored securely in conjunction with our IT support service.

This new system has many benefits – it will help us reduce paper, reduce the amount of lost damaged or stolen documents and of course it greatly improves our processes.

Ignition is being added to our other preferred software options. Xero is where we do all the work. Practice Manager is our internal system, which generates jobs for us and tells us what to do for who and when, and once completed, the job goes back to Ignition for invoicing.

We look forward to operating a more streamlined business – which in turn helps us keep your business more streamlined. It makes sure we don’t let you down and efficiency saves everyone time and money.
